Meu novo melhor amigo! / My new Best Friend!

Yesterday I finally bought a Esfuminho (I don´t know how it is called in english, please if someone know, just write in the comments =D). It´s a drawing tool for shading. (the one besides the pencil at the pictures above).  I always thought that it was useless comparing to my fingers.. But I was totally wrong! It makes a BIG difference! I bought the n.2, now I´m thinking of buying the n.1 too for smaller details. Dirty fingers never more!!!

  1. That's called a "blending stump" in English. There's another variety of more obvious rolled paper called a "Tortillon". See you in October!

  3. Yup, they are wonderful tools. :D I call it a blending stick, or sometimes when I can't think of the name, 'rolled paper thing for blending'.

  8. Hello Mafe, I have written to you in your comments once before (since the emails I have sent were returned as not deliverable). I purchased your folding book through Pay Pay on 10/17 but I have not received the link to download it. My email address is denimdreamer@hotmail.com. Please respond. Thank you.

  9. Hello Deloras,
I'm trying to reach you a long time… please take a look at your spam folder.
I already have sent you the password for download center several times... I can't understand why you didn't receive it yet... =(

  10. I keep a rather small nail file in my pencil box to clean my blending stump. The paper type of files, not the metal or glass ones. You just lightly swipe the stump back and forth across the file until the old graphite is gone.
